Catcher in the Rye

I think Holden is definitely an example of teens today. We all wish we could just leave school and not have to worry about our futures if we left. H acts like he doesn't care about anything, but it is really an act. We've all acted or at least thought like Holden before. We think the world is against us and no one understands, but in truth we just want someone to tell us what to do. I know I've felt that way before, even as someone is trying to help. I do like this book so far and it should be interesting to continue.
